The Truth About Stepping Into Your Power
“When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.”

The Truth About Stepping Into Your Power: Why It’s Hard (and Worth It Anyway)
There’s a lot of talk in the spiritual and coaching world about stepping into your power, setting boundaries, and following your intuition and while those things are life changing, we need to talk about the part most people skip:
It’s not easy.
In fact it can feel messy, emotional, uncertain and downright terrifying.
Because when you’ve spent a lifetime prioritising others, softening your voice and questioning your instincts, reclaiming your power doesn’t feel natural at first.
It feels like loss. It feels like guilt. It feels like breaking an old version of yourself wide open to let a new one emerge.
But this is the path of the empowered, intuitive woman.
And while it may be uncomfortable, it’s also your liberation.
Why It’s So Hard to Step Into Your Power
Let’s be honest: for many women, power hasn’t always felt safe.
You may have been told you were “too much,” “too sensitive,” or “too emotional.”
You may have been praised for being the “nice girl,” the helper, the one who always put others first.
So when you start to say no, speak your truth or follow your intuition instead of the rules, you might feel guilt, fear, or shame. You might wonder if you’re being selfish, dramatic or irresponsible.
This is the old programming being challenged.
You’re not doing it wrong. You’re doing it differently.
The Emotional Toll of Setting Boundaries
Boundaries are essential, but they’re also emotional.
Setting a boundary often means disappointing someone. Saying no. Standing in your truth even when others don’t understand.
And for women who’ve tied their worth to being liked, needed or praised… that’s not just hard. It feels like a threat to your identity.
But here’s what I want you to remember: every time you honour your boundaries, you honour yourself.
And when your energy is protected, your intuition gets louder, your clarity deepens and your soul starts to feel safe again.
Boundaries aren’t about pushing people away. They’re about being kind to yourself.
Learning to Trust Your Intuition Again
If you’ve spent years ignoring your gut or outsourcing your decisions, learning to trust your intuition again can feel wobbly.
You might second-guess yourself, ask for reassurance or try to logic your way through it. That’s okay. This is a practice, not a performance.
Start small:
💫 Journal the intuitive hits you receive (and include the date for future reference).
💫 Notice what your body says yes or no to.
💫 Act on small nudges without needing proof.
The more you follow your intuition, the more evidence you collect that you can trust yourself, this is what builds confidence over time.
The Other Side: Freedom, Flow and Fierce Self-Love
The journey to embodied power isn’t always graceful. But it is sacred.
When you start honouring your truth, setting clear boundaries and trusting your inner wisdom—you stop betraying yourself to be accepted by others. You lead yourself with love. And that changes everything.
Yes, people may leave. Yes, your path may shift.
But the deeper alignment you’ll feel in your soul, your business and your relationships?
That’s the kind of freedom no one can give you, except you.
If you’re in this messy, magical process of reclaiming your power, I see you. I’ve walked it too. And you don’t have to do it alone.
Let’s explore how I can support you in building an empowered, intuitive, soul-led life and business.
